My Life
So Far...

right.. sooo..

last friday... we went to the Asian Civilisation Museum which is next to the Singapore River.
ermm..we went there with the whole grade6 batch..
it was really FUN!!! but the museum INSIDE was really creepy... ARGH. it was DARK, and QUIET. i was sooo freaked out. but it was fun. and OBVIOUSLY educational. we were i think the 2nd class to go in.. meanwhile, all the other classes were going around the area. HA. before we entered the museum though. we were walking along the river and some of the guys threatened to push me in. and obviously they could. but yeah, who da hell would want to go in??

Well after we finished the whole museum, we met outside and then our form teacher (Mr. Idham) showed us around the river area.. we walked along this bridge called the Cavenagh Bridge. Apparently its been there for a while, but it IS too weak to carry vehicles(mush less heavy vehicles), so now its for PEOPLE. lol.. yeah its a nice bridge. Denise kept thinking EVERY SINGLE bridge we passed was the Benjamin Sheares Bridge. she was like,"hey thats the benjamin sheares bridge!" at every bridge we passed. AND when we finally were on the benjamin sheares bridge, she was like, "Is this the Cavenagh Bridge??" LOL. thats a litle stupid dont you think? HAHAHa. yeah thats mainly it. But before we took the bus back home, we went to McDonald's to have a break. whee!

Definitely a fun field trip. Hope the Zoo trip is better though. Supposed to be our Graduation thingy. wakakakakas. gotta add pics soon...

how to get there....
By Car/Taxi
From the City, take the Pan Island Expressway(PIE) towards Jurong.
Turn off at Exit 7 of the Bukit Timah Expressway (BKE).
Follow the prominent brown signs to the Singapore Zoo.
[approx. 30min.]

By Bus
From the City, take bus 171 to Mandai Road, then alight at the first bus stop and transfer to bus service 927 or 926 (operates only on Sundays and Public Holidays). From the City, take bus service 167 to Upper Thomson Road, then alight at the first bus stop and transfer to bus service 138.

By Mass Rapid Transit
Alight at Ang Mo Kio station (NS16) and take bus service 138.

Alight at Choa Chu Kang station (BP1/NS4) and take bus service 927.

Alight at Woodlands station (NS9) or Marsiling station (NS8) and take bus service 926 (operates only on Sundays and Public Holidays).

From Changi Airport station (CG2), board the train and alight at Tanah Merah Interchange station (EW4) to switch to the west-bound train to City Hall Interchange station (EW13/NS25). There, switch again to the north-bound train to Ang Mo Kio station (NS16) and take bus service 138.

From Changi Airport station (CG2), board the train and alight at Tanah Merah Interchange station (EW4) to switch to the west-bound train to Jurong East Interchange station (EW24/NS1). There, switch again to the north-bound train to Choa Chu Kang Interchange station (BP1/NS4) and take bus service 927.
